45 Years in Egypt, partner for development

On Tuesday the 26th of September, the Hanns Seidel Foundation - Egypt Office celebrated its anniversary of 45 years in Egypt. The celebration was in the presence of Chairman, Markus Ferber, MdEP, and with the participation of His Excellency, Major General Hisham Amna, the Minster of Local Development. As well as heads of local partners of the foundation in Egypt.

Since 1978, the Hanns Seidel Foundation has been working as a partner for development in Egypt, and as Mr. Ferber expressed in his speech “The people in Egypt, with whom we have been traveling together for 45 years, are not only partners but also close friends.”

The 45th anniversary came as a land mark for acknowledging past successes, and confirming keenness on keeping the same spirit, and achieving future successes through setting future goals. Chairman Ferber believes “Our shared future will be marked by at least as many successes as the past 45 years!”
