Basics of Sign Language for Staff Members of Helwan University

During the period from 28-30 November 2023, a workshop on the basics of sign language was held for the staff members of Helwan University.  The workshop aimed at building the capacity of the university community to qualify them to deal with Persons with Disabilities. As well as enabling the integration of Persons with Disabilities into society and providing them with income, and decent means of living, which in turn contributes to the development of Egyptian society in various economic and social aspects.  This comes in an effort from Helwan University to develop the capabilities of Persons with Disabilities among its students, employees, faculty members, and the surrounding community, and to prepare the university environment so that they can efficiently perform their various life activities according to the best level their abilities allow.
