Under the umbrella of the project “Improving the Employability Prospect for Persons with Visual disability” the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Cooperation with Bibliotheca Alexandrina has held the career development program for Persons with Visual disabilities.

During the period from 11.09.2023 to 01.11.2023, Taha Hussein library has held the career development program for persons with visual disability. This is in an effort to provide persons with visual disabilities with the knowledge and skills needed for continuous development. During the sessions of the program, the participants encountered career building, CV practice, the interview process, job search, labor law, workplace accommodation and managerial principles.

 

Through these topics, the program aimed at increasing the employability prospects of persons with visual disabilities. As well as enhancing their ability to set realistic vocational goals according to one’s interests and skills and raising their awareness about labor law and labor market requirements.
