Governance and Sustainable Development and their Impact on Organizational Goals and Performance

Sustainable Development & Governance are 2 of the most important concepts in current times. Accordingly, the Hanns Seidel Foundation collaborated with the National Institute for Governance & Sustainable Development in organizing a training workshop on “Governance and Sustainable Development and their Impact on Organizational Goals and Performance” for post graduate students & staff of the Egypt Japan University for Science & Technology from Egypt & several African countries.

The Hanns Seidel Foundation collaborated with the National Institute for Governance & Sustainable Development in organizing a series of training workshops for post graduate students & staff of the Egypt Japan University for Science & Technology from Egypt & several African countries. The 3rd & 4th trainings were organized on “Governance and Sustainable Development and their Impact on Organizational Goals and Performance” in the form of morning & afternoon groups on 13-15.02.2023, with participants from 11 African countries. By the end of trainings and through various discussion sessions, participants were able to fully understand Sustainable Development, Good Governance, Egypt Vision 2030 & Agenda 2063: The Africa we want, as well as the means of implementing them in the workplace. By the end of the series 59 participants graduated; the graduation ceremony was attended by Prof. Masaaki Suzuki, First Vice President for Regional & International Affairs at the Egypt Japan University for Science & Technology.
