To support worldwide efforts to halt climate change, The Hanns Seidel Foundation’s MENA offices, through a consultant, designed a regional climate and environmental strategy.

HSS Egypt office, in an effort to review the final draft of the MENA Environment and Climate strategy, prepared a stakeholder round table in cooperation with its partners. The roundtable provided a platform for aligning Egypt’s national challenges as well as the partners aspirations with the MENA Climate strategy. Furthermore, the MENA strategy through regional cooperation aims at the integration and the transfer of expertise between the MENA countries, thus ensures environmental sustainability and fruitful climate action in the region.
