On Tuesday the 23rd of May, the Faculty of Economics and Political Science held its twenty third job fair in cooperation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation. The day started with opening speeches by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud ElSaeed, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Mr. Thomas Schama, the Resident representative of Hanns Seidel Foundation in Egypt. As well as Welcoming representatives of the companies participating in the job fair.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud ElSaeed stated that the job fair this year is expected to provide more jobs than the previously held job fairs by 33%, and more than 800 internship opportunity.
The event seeked to enable students and young graduates to get to know some of the best employers and to obtain detailed information about (inter)national and regional organizations from a wide range of sectors. 50 entities actively participated in the job fair, with around 300 student and graduate. Both, the students and graduates had the opportunity to have a direct contact with human resource managers to ask about the corporate culture of entities, and what is particularly important when applying for internships and jobs.
