Capacity Building Workshop for Adaptation of Persons with Visual Disability into the Job Market

Hanns Seidel Foundation collaborated with the Public Administration Research and Consultation Center in organizing its 1^stactivity in 2020. The series of workshops, titled “Capacity Building Workshop for Adaptation of Persons with Visual Disability into the Job Market”, aimed at helping them adapt to the requirements of the job market and was divided into 3 workshops: ‘Computer Basics & Windows’, ‘Microsoft Word’ & ‘Microsoft PowerPoint’. The workshops were held at one of the computer labs in the Faculty of Economics and Political Science and included a comprehensive explanation of how to operate a computer, Microsoft Word & Microsoft PowerPoint, with a total of 58 university students and graduates with visual disability attending. Participants were able to apply the theoretical aspects of the training hands-on and on the last day of the series participated in a presentation competition, where a panel chose the winner.
