Capacity Building Workshop for Persons with Disabilities: Soft Skills for Persons with Visual Disabilities

With the support of Hanns Seidel Foundation, Taha Hussein Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina organized a Soft Skills workshop for children and youth suffering from visual disabilities. This program aimed at educating participants to communicate and build professional relationships in addition to enabling them to understand the concept behind various communication techniques and their real-life application. Throughout the workshop, other skills were addressed including: creativity and innovative thinking, problem solving and idea generation, effective communication skills, time management as well as presentation skills.
