Improving the Employability Prospect of Persons with Visual Disabilities "Entrepreneurship Skills Program"

Through the strong cooperation between Hanns Seidel Foundation and Bibliotheca Alexandrina and their focus on issues of persons with disabilities, a series of training sessions on “Entrepreneurship” as an approach was prepared and offered to university students and fresh graduates with visual disabilities.

In order to empower university students with visual disabilities and  improve their employability prospects, a series of entrepreneurship skills program was held that aims to introduce them to the concepts and skills necessary to successfully commercialize new ideas and figure out the suitability of starting and running a startup. In accordance, the program helps persons with visual disabilities increase their job qualifications and familiarize with concept of entrepreneurship and its contemporary issues. These targets come in line with the main objectives of the cooperation project between Hanns Seidel Foundation and Bibliotheca Alexandrina to provide inclusive accessible activities for youth, especially the persons with disabilities.
