Environmental Awareness: Biodiversity & Protected Areas in Egypt

Hanns Seidel Foundation collaborated with the Public Administration Research and Consultation Center (PARC) to launch the 1^st seminar on environmental awareness with Prof. Dr. Kohar Garo, Professor and Director of the Environmental Communication Center at the Faculty of Science, Cairo University as the speaker. The seminar tackled biodiversity and the 30 protected areas in Egypt, where participants discussed their opinions and recommendations. At the end of the seminar participants answered a questionnaire to facilitate the selection of students for the follow-up field trip to Wadi Degla Protectorate.
