Freelancing & Remote Working Techniques

The COVID-19 pandemic hit hard on businesses and people. With a universal shift towards remote as well as freelance work, Hanns Seidel Foundation and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities organized a series of capacity building workshops to economically empower persons with disabilities throughout 2021 and help them enhance their qualifications and opportunities in the job market.

06-11.2021

COVID-19 did not only have negative repercussions on health but it contributed to the recession and increased unemployment. As a result, a lot of people lost their jobs and accordingly their main source of income, while others were obliged to work from home. A need for training on freelancing as well as remote office adaptation aroused, especially for persons with disabilities who were adversely affected. The workshop aimed at raising their capacities and job qualifications as well as raising awareness regarding the available job opportunities in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
