Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in the Civil Service

Persons with disabilities are marginalised in many areas in life and not treated as equals, especially within the workforce. An awareness-raising workshop was organized by Hanns Seidel Foundation and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development for civil servants, including employees with disabilities. The workshop focused a lot on raising the participants’ awareness on the rights of persons with disabilities internationally and locally. It also shed light on the problems faced by them at work. Participants were interactive and shared their experiences throughout the workshop.
