Management of natural resources with the participation of the local community

The workshop was supervised by a group of Egyptian environmental experts and aimed at increasing the students’ awareness of biodiversity and ecosystems importance for environment and for human wellbeing. The discussions during the workshop showed interest of the students to know more about major threats to biodiversity, the effect of climate change, pollution, and how to manage a Protected Area. The last day of the workshop was spent in the Wadi Degla Reserve to practicaly get aquinted to the topics of the Workshop.
