Mid-Year Program for the Blind and Visually Impaired

During the mid-year holiday, Hanns Seidel Foundation cooperated with Bibliotheca Alexandrina to organize a mid-year program for blind and visually impaired children. The program consisted of 5 workshops and aimed at enhancing their skills and raising their awareness so as to be fully integrated in the society.

Hanns Seidel Foundation, in cooperation with Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA), organized a mid-year program for blind and visually impaired children. The aim of this program was rehabilitating the visually impaired children to be integrated as members of society equal to their sighted peers, enhancing their artistic and cultural skills and raising their awareness regarding healthcare and other lifestyle concerns. The program was divided into 5 workshops; Science is Fun, Creative Writing, Happy Environment, Yoga, Etiquette and Life Style with a total of 27 participants.
