During the period from 02.04.2023 to 28.11.2023, Taha Hussein library is holding “The Orientation and Mobility Training” Program for persons with visual disability. The program was tailored to support rehabilitating university students with visual disabilities, and preparing them to the labor market. This is in addition to enhancing their skills, and facilitating their independent functioning and participation in the community.

The Orientation and Mobility Training helps the Students with Visual Disabilities to learn how to use the white cane effectively, as well as familiarizing them with their surroundings and providing them with orientation to new places [houses, hotel rooms, etc.].
