Aiming at supporting local administration reform policies, Hanns Seidel Foundation cooperated with Takamol Foundation to prepare three policy papers on local administrative reform issues in Egypt. Three experts workshops were held to discuss each of the policy papers: “Decentralization and Local Economic Development”, “Decentralization and Administrative Reform”, and “Decentralization and Development of Local Income Tools”

In light of assisting Egypt’s Vision 2030, Hanns Seidel Foundation and its partner Takamol Foundation prepared three policy papers to enhance the capacities of local administration officials and to support them in achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030. The workshops presented recommendations on the three issues of Local Economic Development, Administrative Reform, and Local Income Tools and their relevance to decentralization. The policy papers contribute to raising awareness and enhancing the knowledge of all concerned stakeholders for achieving the goals of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
