Professional Skills Development Program: Leadership and Performance Development

Hanns Seidel Foundation organized a program consisting of 3 workshops with basic and advanced components for professional skills development, in collaboration with the National Management Institute for middle management civil servants. This 1st workshop tackled the topics of leadership and professional development.

Hanns Seidel Foundation cooperated with the National Management Institute (NMI) in organizing a series of workshops for middle management civil servants titled the Professional Skills Development program. The program consisted of 3 workshops “Leadership & Performance Development”, “Team Building & Negotiation Skills” and “Reform & Leading Change” with each workshop divided into basic and advanced. The 1st workshop tackled basic topics such as the difference between leadership and management and models of performance management, as well as advanced topics like models of excellence in leadership and developing/ implementing KPIs. The topics were discussed in a combination of presentations and group activities. Participants also underwent a pre- and post-test to determine their progress. After completing all 3 workshops participants receive a certificate for the entire program.
