Professional Skills Development Program: Leadership and Performance Development

Hanns Seidel Foundation cooperated with the National Management Institute (NMI) in organizing a series of workshops for middle management civil servants titled the Professional Skills Development program. The program consisted of 3 workshops “Leadership & Performance Development”, “Team Building & Negotiation Skills” and “Reform & Leading Change” with each workshop divided into basic and advanced. The 1^st workshop tackled basic topics such as the difference between leadership and management and models of performance management, as well as advanced topics like models of excellence in leadership and developing/ implementing KPIs. The topics were discussed in a combination of presentations and group activities. Participants also underwent a pre- and post-test to determine their progress. After completing all 3 workshops participants receive a certificate for the entire program.
