Professional Skills Development Program: Team Building & Negotiation Skills

Hanns Seidel Foundation cooperated with the National Management Institute (NMI) in organizing a series of workshops for middle management civil servants titled the Professional Skills Development program. The program consisted of 3 workshops titled “Leadership & Performance Development”, “Team Building & Negotiation Skills” and “Reform & Leading Change” and each workshop was divided into basic and advanced. The 2^nd workshop tackled basic topics such as effective negotiation and communication skills, stages of team formation and development, as well as advanced topics such as barriers facing communication and negotiation in contemporary organizations and managing teams successfully through effective communication and negotiation. The topics were discussed in presentations and group activities. Participants also underwent a pre- and post-test to determine their progress. After completing all 3 workshops participants received a certificate for the entire program.
