Sustainable Development Strategies and Egypt’s Vision 2030

With the SDGs and Egypt’s Vision 2030 being more relevant to the reform process by the day, it became apparent that the public’s awareness needs to be raised through competent sources. Thus, the National Management Institute staff discussed the SDGs and Egypt’s Vision 2030 in capacity building workshops, which included presentations by qualified experts as well as group activities.

In cooperation with the National Management Institute (NMI), Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS) organized a series of capacity building and awareness raising workshops. The workshops mainly tackled the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt’s Vision 2030 (SDS). Basic Concepts, such as sustainability and sustainable development pillars were explained by the instructors. The participants engaged in group-activities discussing several related topics, such as implementing, monitoring and evaluating Egypt’s Vision 2030. The 3 workshops were held with 24, 26 and 25 participants, respectively.
