The SDGs & Egypt’s Vision 2030

Dr. Huwaida Barakat, Head of Sustainable Development Unit, Ministry of Planning, Monitoring & Administrative Reform was the main speaker at the launching event of the cooperation between Hanns Seidel Foundation and Public Administration Research and Consultation Center. The seminar, which was the core of the launching event, tackled the SDGs and Egypt’s Vision 2030, while shedding light on the role of Egyptian youth.

Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS) and the Public Administration Research and Consultation Center (PARC) held a Launching Event of their joint cooperation. The seminar featured Dr. Huwaida Barakat, Head of Sustainable Development Unit, Ministry of Planning, Monitoring & Administrative Reform as the main speaker. The aim of the seminar was to raise the awareness of university students and staff on current development strategies. The main topic was the role of Egyptian youth in light of the SDGs and Egypt’s Vision 2030. The seminar was concluded with a discussion about the sustainable development concepts and the questions were answered by the guest speaker. The event was attended by more than 100 university students.
