Visit of Hanns Seidel Foundation’s Representatives to Egypt

HSS-HQ representatives came to Egypt for a brief visit. During their visit meetings with project partners were held to affirm and boost the fruitful cooperation.

Dr. Susanne Luther, Director of the Hanns Seidel Foundation’s Institute for International Cooperation, and Ms. Maryam Schmidt, Head of the MENA Sector, held a short visit to Egypt during which they met with the foundation’s project partners. The visit included meetings with Dr. Moustafa El-Feki, Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA), Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Said, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science (FEPS), Acting Director of the Public Administration Research and Consultation Center (PARC), Dr. Khaled Barakat as well as Dr. Sherifa Sherif, Executive Director of the National Management Institute (NMI) to boost the Foundation’s current fruitful cooperation with these institutions. The visit was concluded with the agreeance on the importance of the cooperation in the field of Administrative Reform and the Inclusion of Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities in the Sustainable Development Process. Their short visit also included meetings with the German Ambassador to Egypt and the GIZ Country Director.
