Workshop for Organizations working in the Field of Disability "Entrepreneurship"

Within their continued efforts to support Persons with Disabilities, Hanns Seidel Foundation and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities organized a series of training workshops for organizations working in the field of disability focusing on “Entrepreneurship”. The training comes in line with the objective to strengthen the economic inclusion of youth, women, and persons with disabilities within the sustainable development process.

Workshops were designed for members of organizations working in the field of disability and constituting of three modules focusing on entrepreneurship. The first module tackled leadership behavior and crisis management, as pre-requisites for entrepreneurship and the second and third modules focused on entrepreneurship skills. The participants were divided into groups at the beginning of the workshop then each group presented a project at the end. The workshop contributed to raising the awareness on the issues facing persons with disabilities and ways to develop their entrepreneurial skills. The program was implemented online throughout the year 2021.
