In Munich and Augsburg, representatives from governance, academia, continuing education, navigation/logistics, and civil society development work met with Bavarian institutions to discuss approaches to lifelong learning, vocational training, digitalization, AI, and sustainable regional development.

Particularly valuable were the insights into dual vocational training, modern continuing education structures, inclusive labor market programs, and innovation ecosystems—from the Munich and Upper Bavaria Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) to Stadtwerke München, the Augsburg Technology Center, and UnternehmerTUM, all the way to the TUM Think Tank. There, the exchange on GovTech, institutional transformation, and new competency requirements provided exciting impetus for future-proof public institutions.

A heartfelt thank you to all our delegation members & discussion partners for the interesting insights, the constructive exchange, and the inspiring encounters.
