In collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation – Brussels Office, we successfully concluded the "EU–Egypt Sustainability Cooperation Mission: From Policy Dialogue to Operational Implementation", held in Brussels from 18–20 May 2026.

This delegation visit brought together key stakeholders to strengthen EU–Egypt cooperation in sustainability, research, and innovation, fostering meaningful dialogue, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnerships that contribute to sustainable growth and long-term impact.

Through a series of meetings with EU institutions, universities, research alliances, and policy think tanks, participants explored opportunities to advance shared sustainability objectives and enhance collaboration across different sectors.

Key focus areas included:

 EU–Egypt university and innovation partnerships

 Horizon Europe, PRIMA & research cooperation opportunities

 Water management & climate resilience

 Circular economy & sustainable urban development

 Energy efficiency

Together, we continue to build bridges between Egypt and the European Union, transforming policy dialogue into tangible action for a more sustainable and resilient future.
