Impacts of climate Change on Women

In the framework of cooperation between the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency, a workshop on the Impacts of climate Change on Women was held in Alexandria Governorate.

The workshop was held during the period form 23 April till 24 April 2025. It aimed at raising the awareness of women on the adverse effects of Climate Change especially those leading to challenges related to water such as rising sea levels and the increase of water salinity in Alexandria governorate and the Delta region. The negative impacts of Climate Change from economic and health perspectives were also discussed, as well as how to work to mitigate these impacts.
