Recycling and Converting Wastes into Resources

During the period from 09 February till 12 February, a workshop on the topic of Recycling Agricultural Wastes took place in Luxor governorate. The workshop aimed to raise the awareness of farmers on the harmful side effects of the unsafe disposal of agricultural wastes, and provided capacity building on how can farmers not only dispose of agricultural wastes safely, but also recycle these wastes and transform it into usable resources, such as compost. 
The workshop had a practical training that allowed the farmers to apply the knowledge they received throughout two-days’ worth of lectures.
