Summer Program for Persons with Visual Disability

In an effort to support the rehabilitation and integration of Persons with Visual Disability in society as their sighted peers, the Hanns Seidel Foundation in cooperation with Bibliotheca Alexandrina held the Summer Program for Persons with Visual Disability.

During the period from 21.07.2024 until 05.09.2024, the Summer Program for Persons with Visual Disability is being held in Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The program is especially tailored for Persons with Visual Disability and aims at enhancing their artistic and cultural skills and raising their awareness on life style issues. This is as well as paving the way for them to be creative, self-independent and to be engaged in new experiences. The program also supports enhancing the soft skills of Persons with Visual Disability through a series of lectures about sales and negotiation skills, methods of communication skills and accessibility tools.
