Training of Volunteers for Dealing & Developing Life Skills of Visual Impaired Persons

Within the framework of the cooperation between the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Educational Foundation for Early Intervention and Capacity Building (EDU), it was agreed to hold the training workshop “Training of Volunteers for Dealing & Developing Life Skills of Visual Impaired Persons”.

The training workshop aims to contribute to creating a more comprehensive environment characterized by inclusion and support for Persons with Visual Disabilities within a series of training courses that focus on providing assistance and accessibility to Persons with Visual Disabilities and developing their basic life skills.

The training was held for volunteers willing to work with Persons with Visual Disability at the Educational Foundations premises in Rawd al-Farag during the period from July 8 to July 10, where the young volunteers received a series of lectures on the rights of people with disabilities and Dealing rules. They also participated in practical training sessions on how to help and teach life and daily skills to Persons with Visual Disability and blind persons.
