A series of online lectures targeting parents of children with disabilities entitled "Protecting our Children with Special Needs" were held and published by Bibliotheca Alexandrina which included topics about protection children from wrong parenting methods, abuse, and sexual protection.
Within their continued efforts to support Persons with Disabilities, Hanns Seidel Foundation and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities organized a series of training workshops for organizations working in the field of disability focusing on “Entrepreneurship”. The training comes in line with the objective to strengthen the economic inclusion of youth, women, and persons with disabilities within the sustainable development process.
A 2-day workshop was organized by Hanns Seidel Foundation and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities to help civil servants cope better with remote working that was caused by the pandemic over the past year.
To raise the awareness of university students and staff at Cairo University on the use of Artificial Intelligence in the public administration and how it can make work more efficient, Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Public Administration Research & Consultation Center collaborated in organizing a seminar at the Faculty of Economics & Political Science on this issue.
COVID-19 affected our daily lives including education which paved the way into digital transformation in the education sector. Professors find themselves overwhelmed with many questions on how to adapt to this new form of teaching. To support professors in offering high quality education during these times of crises, Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Public Administration Research & Consultation Centre have worked together in offering capacity building in that area.
